Handmade wooden windows
Wooden Euro-type windows: EURO 78 and EURO 100
Warm A, A+ and A++ energy efficiency class windows made from selected glued timber. Each product is sanded, impregnated, primed and hand-painted, and, if desired, clad with aluminium on the outside so the windows do not need repainting.
- 78 or 100 mm profile
- A, A+ and A++ classes
- Uw nuo 0,75 W/m²K
- Roto Frank AG fittings
Why wood
- Natural warmth and aesthetics
- Generate sound insulation
- Warm double glazing
- Resistance to deformation
Two profiles: EURO 78 and EURO 100
All profiles are made from the same high-quality laminated wood and with the same fittings. The profile thickness, the number of sealing contours, and the thermal and acoustic insulation differ.
EURO 78 profile
The most popular profile for private homes and public buildings when a warm window at a sensible price is desired. Meets energy performance class A, with a U-value of approximately 1 W/m²K.
£100 profile
A solution for those who prioritise warmth, silence and large glazed surfaces. Meets energy efficiency classes A+ and A++, with a heat transfer coefficient of approximately 0.75–0.85 W/m²K.
Aluminium-clad wooden windows
The same EURO 78 and EURO 100 profiles, clad with aluminium on the outside. Inside, natural wood remains, and the aluminium profiles protect the window from rain, sun and wind, meaning it does not need repainting. Below you can see the outside and inside of each window.
EURO 78, aluminium powder coated
The comfort of the popular EURO 78 profile on the inside and the weather resistance of aluminium on the outside. We paint the aluminium in any colour from the RAL palette and window maintenance becomes minimal.
€100, aluminium casing
Our warmest profile with aluminium protection on the outside. Usually glazed with a triple-glazed unit and chosen for A+ and A++ class homes.
Why choose Fenestrum wooden windows
Direct from the factory
We produce and sell ourselves, without intermediaries. This means the price remains at the manufacturer's level, and you deal directly with the production team for all queries.
Handicraft
Every window is glazed, sanded, impregnated, primed and painted by hand, not on a conveyor belt.
Warm double glazing
Two or three-pane units with selective glass and a warm TGI spacer bar. The Ug coefficient of the glass unit reaches up to 0.5 W/m²K.
Selected laminated timber
Radial sawdust, glued with moisture-resistant glue. Such a window does not crack or deform even with significant temperature changes.
Reliable furniture
German Roto Frank AG fittings. We select the burglary resistance class according to your needs, from standard to RC3.
Painting with Teknos paints
We paint in any RAL palette colour. You can choose opaque paints or a stain through which the natural wood texture is visible.
Technical specifications
Our profiles are manufactured from glued finger-jointed or non-finger-jointed pine and oak timber, as well as other types of wood available on the market. We produce rectangular, triangular, pentagonal, hexagonal, arched, semi-circular, round, and irregularly shaped windows.

Both aluminium profiles, whether reinforced or not, can be fitted with double or triple-glazed units. The EURO 100 is most commonly chosen with a triple-glazed unit. The precise overall U-value (Uw) and glazing solution for the entire window will be provided with your individual offer, as they depend on the specific dimensions and shape of the window.

Frequently asked questions about Fenestrum Timber Windows and Doors
How do EURO 78 and EURO 100 profiles differ?
The main difference is in thermal and acoustic insulation. EURO 78 meets energy efficiency class A, with a thermal transmittance of approximately 1 W/m²K, and tightness is ensured by two sealing contours. EURO 100 achieves A+ and A++ classes (approx. 0.75–0.85 W/m²K), has three sealing contours, and is better suited for large glazed areas.
Windows are made from what type of wood?
We manufacture windows from glued, finger-jointed or non-finger-jointed pine and oak timber, as well as other types of wood available on the market. We use selected quality timber, glued cross-grain with moisture-resistant adhesives, ensuring the window does not crack or warp even with significant temperature fluctuations.
What are the thermal properties of these windows?
EURO 78 windows meet energy efficiency class A, EURO 100 windows meet A+, and A++ classes. We manufacture window units with selective glass and warm TGI spacers, achieving a Ug coefficient of up to 0.5 W/m²K. The precise overall window heat transfer coefficient (Uw) will be provided with the quotation, as it depends on the window dimensions and the chosen glazing.
What hardware do you use and what level of burglar resistance can be chosen?
We use German Roto Frank AG hardware. You choose the burglary resistance class based on the building's purpose: standard, RC1/RC1N, RC2/RC2N, or RC3. We recommend a higher class for ground-floor windows accessible from the outside and for properties requiring additional security.
Mediniai langai be apsauginio aliuminio sluoksnio gali greičiau sugesti, reikalauti reguliaraus dažymo ar lako atnaujinimo. Aliuminio kaustymas suteikia papildomą apsaugą ir ilgaamžiškumą, todėl daugelis žmonių renkasi šią technologiją, kad užtikrintų savo langų kokybę ilgus metus.
Aluminium cladding is aluminium profiles that cover a wooden window on the outside. They are fitted with an air gap to allow the wood to breathe, and protect it from moisture, sunlight and temperature fluctuations, meaning such windows do not need repainting. Cladding is not mandatory, but is especially recommended when windows are exposed to the weather or when you wish to paint the exterior of the window in dark colours.
Can decorative glass dividers (muntins) be selected?
Yes. You can choose 25 mm muntins within the double glazing unit (in white or brown), duplex or wooden bars, glued to the double glazing unit on both sides. This way, we can adapt the window for both classical and modern architecture buildings.
What are the production lead times and what is the warranty?
We typically manufacture windows within 8–12 weeks from order confirmation, the timeframe depending on the season and project complexity. We provide a 5-year warranty on Euro-type windows and doors, covering the product itself, and a 2-year warranty on the fittings.
